Jo is a teacher who shares her knowledge and gives you courage to become a better instructor. Her courses are well constructed with useful information and examples from her own experiences. Jo encourages you to look for the answers, to discover new possibilities and continue with your professional growth. I would recommend Jo's courses as they will add a new dimension to your Pilates classes. Antra Casno

2013 saw me put together the final pieces of my Pilates Equipment training with the completion of Reformer and Cadillac. It has been a hugely enjoyable journey.....I love Jo's dynamic and creative style of teaching. The depth and breadth of her knowledge and experience really shine through in her teaching but there is also the real sense of her teaching practice being grounded in up to date research from the worlds of anatomy, fitness and Pilates. It is always a joy to be on a JPilates training weekend as I know I will gain so much from Jo's experience and mentorship which helps evolve and develop my skills as a Pilates Instructor.I do feel the completion of the equipment series has deepened my understanding of the work of Joseph Pilates and what we know as the Pilates Method today. I have a tool box packed full of ideas not only to develop my matwork classes giving me a wider repertoire to draw upon to adapt and bring challenge to my clients but also for the development of my business too. If you are a matwork teacher toying with the idea of the equipment - don't hold back, the experience will enrich and challenge you as an instructor. Michelle Ormrod

Jo has overseen all my professional Pilates training and qualifications and my journey has been fantastic.  Jo is an exceptional teacher, whose enthusiasm and love for Pilates is infectious.  Her style of training is thoroughly enjoyable and challenging. It is very well balanced between theory, including in-depth anatomy, practical work, demonstrations and discussions.  Jo’s training methods and personality encourages a creative environment and I always feel rejuvenated and inspired after spending a weekend in training with her.  You will not be disappointed if you attend any courses run by Jo. Naomi Lazell

I really enjoyed the Matwork Diploma and the way it was run - you had a good mix of covering theory with the practical tasks and the weekend we did all the posture analysis was so interesting and informative. It was a great relaxed atmosphere whilst still learning all the time and you have a fantastic way of delivering it all. You are very supportive all the way through and always available to help with any questions we have by e-mail/phone. I can't think of any other presenter that would give so much time like that. The venue was great and I will definitely do more courses and workshops with you in the future. Joanna Fernandes

I really think that one of the best things about training with Jo is that she doesn’t just teach you what is required to become a Pilates teacher but she also gives you the encouragement and self-confidence to teach and to teach in a way that is your own. Sarah Tandy

The training was fantastic and as a group of students we all got on brilliantly supporting each other as we went along. Jo’s approach to teaching was so refreshing. She has boundless energy and is always on hand to offer advice and guidance.  I learnt so much through her tutoring, not only on the technical and anatomical level but also on the people skills required to be a great teacher.  Jo puts everything into the courses and workshops and I know I’ll be continuing my professional development through her and the JPilates team.  There is so much on offer that there is no need to go elsewhere! Mary Fryer
